My Guitar My Friend
Out now ·
A tribute to the musicians who have weathered life's highs and lows with an instrument by their side—and a reminder that we all need something that brings us comfort, grounding, and a sense of belonging.

I wrote My Guitar My Friend as a tribute to musicians everywhere who have experienced life's ups and downs and found comfort in the instrument they return to.
For some, it's a guitar. For others, a piano, a drum kit, or simply their own voice. Through difficult days, disappointments, and moments of joy, music can become a safe haven—a place where we can express what we're feeling without having to explain ourselves.
But I also wanted this song to reach beyond musicians.
Because whether you play an instrument, sing, or have no musical connection at all, I believe we all need something in our lives that grounds us. Something we can return to when life becomes difficult. Something that accepts us as we are, asks nothing of us, and somehow gives something back.
For me, this song is a celebration of that connection—and a reminder of how important it is to find and cherish your own safe haven.
